A Good Snapshot . . .

Tuesday, March 18, 2014. Please Come and Visit! As you all may have noticed, my posts to this blog have decreased to almost nothing - actually nothing at all for this year. I have run dry of new ideas for barn quilts, birds and Blue Ridge Parkway. After a while it all becomes redundant and, quite frankly, boring. So, bookmark my new blog, Seen From a Small Car. And come with me on my trips to find the hidden and obscure historic sites! Saturday, December 21, 2013. Tuesday, December 17, 2013.

Cardboard Sea

I was still breaking in a new pair of hiking boots. They were covered in a thick red dust from a five mile hike we had taken a day earlier just outside of Roslyn. While most of the plant life was different, a lot of that hike reminded me of Sedona. The red dust being a big part of it, but also the smell. But when we got to Olympic National Park the only red dust was on my boots and the air was heavy and mossy. The sun peeked out just as we were leaving.

Cool History of Cleveland A New Look on the Old City

A New Look on the Old City. One of the great and unexpected joys of writing the Cool History of Cleveland blog is the occasionally connection you make with a reader. A few weeks past I received an email from a David Buehler who owns essentially the final set of Templar Motor Cars in the world.

Doing Hard Time in Shaker Heights

Sunday, March 25, 2018. Before the Clothes Come Off. You will never see blatant sex on DHTiSH because that would be, well, not what this blog is about. No one is going to stamp DHTiSH as an adult content blog because that would be unseemly. At some point, I have to at least bend to this warped place, but I will never yield completely. Thus I was utterly delighted to find a Tumblr that cracks me up.
